Premier League
Nenagh Celtic ‘A’ continue to stay hot on the heels of neighbours Nenagh AFC ‘A’ in the chase for Premier League honours after Celtic made short work of a depleted Clodiagh Rangers ‘A’ in Drombane Saturday evening last. In a must win game for Celtic, they got off to the ideal start when Danny Ryan converted an early penalty and despite the score remaining 1 nil until half time, Celtic upped the ante in the second half and scored 5 more goals thanks to Mark Walsh and 4 from the impressive Craig Connolly. This sets up an interesting finish to the Premier League with both of the top two sides to face already relegated Thurles Town, who have the potential to cause an upset and may have a say in the destination of this years Premier League.

Third Division
In a game where only pride was at stake, Rearcross ‘B’ snatched a later equaliser from already promoted Lough Derg ‘B’ at the Clarisford venue. Jamie Stuart had put Lough Derg ahead just before the break, but in the dying seconds of the game, Kieran Devitt got his foot on the ball in a goal mouth scramble to power home and grab a share of the spoils.

Youths Cup
Ballymackey Youths good run of form continues as they overcame BT Harps Youths in the Youths Cup semi final to set up a final with the winners of Nenagh AFC Youths and Nenagh Celtic Youths. Three of Ballymackeys star performers this season all found themselves on the score sheet, namely Denis Haverty, Gearoid Murphy and Darragh McDonnell.

In addition, all clubs are reminded about the upcoming NT&DL Awards Night which will take place in the Templemore Arm  Hotel, on the 15th of May 2015 at 8.30pm.
