Joe Delaney Cup
BT Harps Youths were at home to Cahir Park in the Joe Delaney Cup and emerged victorious on a 4-1 scoreline. The TSDL side led one nil at the break thanks to a Bernard McHugh strike, however BT Harps picked it up in the second half and cruised to the semi-final stages with finishes from Jack Kennedy, Joe Kennedy, Dylan Loughnane and Michael Greed.

Nenagh Celtic Youths travelled to Two-Mile-Borris on Saturday for this Joe Delaney Youths Cup game and were on the wrong end of a 6-4 score line. The Two-Mile-Borris goal scorers were Jack Cleary, Jamie Carey and Karl Collins who all bagged a brace a piece. The Nenagh Celtic target men were Paul Walsh with a hat-trick to his credit while Eddie Shoer was also on the mark for the Hoops.

Cup holders Nenagh AFC Youths travelled to Thurles to play Peake Villa and bowed out following a penalty shootout defeat. Peake Villa opened up a two nil lead through Adam Garrett and Billy McCarthy, however the Brickfields side brought it back level with goals from Cian Darcy and Ryan Gilmartin, Peake Villa were the more clinical in the penalty shootout on a 4-1 score line and had their sharpshooters in Mark Lennon, Sean Butler, Billy McCarthy and Willie Tierney while Nenagh AFC’s reply came from Ciaran O’Reilly.

NT&DL Tipperary Cup
Roscrea United ‘A’ secured safe passage to semi-final stages of the Tipperary Cup with a comprehensive 4-1 over Nenagh AFC ‘B’ last Thursday evening in Roscrea. Goals from Martin Loughnane, Eoin Shanahan and a double hit from Paul Kirwan made up the Roscrea tally while Ciaran O’Reilly scored for the Nenagh side.

Nenagh AFC ‘A’ welcomed Lough Derg ‘A; to the Brickfields venue for this Tipperary Cup quarter final game and progressed to the last four with a 3-1 win over the Lakers. Mark McKenna edged the Blues ahead with a converted penalty ten minutes before half time, however Chris Monaghan pegged it back level on the stroke of half time with a lobbed effort. Alan Sheehan restored the Nenagh advantage twenty minutes in to the second half. It was game set and match twelve minutes from time when a luckless Lough Derg outfit conceded an own goal after John Mitchell’s menacing cross was knocked to the net.

Premier Division League
Nenagh Celtic had too much firepower for Rearcross at Nenagh VEC last Sunday morning on a seven goals to one score line. Sean Healy opened the scoring for the home side with a close range finish, however Greg Kennedy levelled matters with a long range rasper to leave it all square at the break. Nenagh Celtic ran out comfortable winners in the second half with goals from Michael Ryan, David Walsh, Matis Mikayalunas, Danny Ryan, Stevie Ryan and an own goal.

Third Division League
Cloughjordan ‘B’ were 6-1 winners over a depleted Lough Derg ‘B’ in Cloughjordan last Sunday. Dean O’Meara and Conor Deane pounced for a brace a piece for the winners while Seamus Williams and Jamie Twamley were also on the mark for Cloughjordan, Dean Sinnott scored the lone Lough Derg reply.
